DELIVERY & COLLECTION TIMES
must be agreed upon at time of booking. Hire equipment can be picked up from our showroom/warehouse at a prior arranged time. Items need to be returned on the day agreed at the time of booking.
There is no charge to pick up items however a refundable security bond no greater than $100 is required for all pick-ups. This bond is refunded on return of items per our terms and conditions. Hirer must stay with equipment at all times during hire period.
Any broken/lost items will also be taken from bond if required with items charged at full replacement cost.
Hire rates are based on a 1 – 4 day period. Extended hire periods can be arranged in the original booking of the Hirer and will depend on the availability of Equipment. Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire will provide a quote for an extended hire period on the request of the Hirer.
DEPOSIT, PAYMENTS AND OTHER FEES
A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total hire/service cost is required to be paid to AMAZING MOMENTS CQ Event Party Hire to confirm the Hirer’s booking. Deposit paid will come off the total bill payable. Deposits are required for all orders, with the exception of when orders placed less than 30 days from delivery. A full payment is then required to secure the booking.
The total invoice must be paid 30 days before delivery or pickup of any equipment. If the Hirer does not comply with this, equipment will not be deemed booked and therefore could be booked by other parties.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST.
A 25% surcharge will be incurred on gazette public holidays.
Any refunds will incur an administration fee of $5.00
Cancellations are requested in writing by email or letter by the Hirer stated on the invoice and can be sent to Amazing Moments CQ.
Cancellations made more than 30 days from delivery will receive a refund of delivery and collection fees only.
No refund applies for Equipment cancelled on delivery.
Booking deposits are non-transferable.
Booking deposits paid are non-refundable to cancellation, change-of-mind or change of date.
All quotes provided expire within 4 weeks. AMAZING MOMENTS CQ Event Party Hire reserves the right to adjust the prices in any quotation once the expiry period has been reached. Equipment is hired on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and a quotation does not guarantee the availability of any/all items until deposit is paid.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
NOTE: All props are used and therefore reasonable signs of wear and tear will show as they are continual hire items.
The Hirer assumes all responsibility for the Equipment from the time of delivery until collection by AMAZING MOMENTS CQ Event Party Hire and is liable for all Equipment damaged or lost during this period.
Any Equipment used outside is done so entirely at the risk of the Hirer. In no case should the Equipment be used or left outside in the rain or overnight.
A security bond is required from the Hirer and held in the case of any and all Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire damages, breakages, theft or unaccounted Equipment from AMAZING MOMENTS CQ EVENT HIRE.
The security bond will not be refunded until all Equipment is returned and in the Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire same condition as prior to dispatch. AMAZING MOMENTS CQ Event Party Hire‘s decision as to the condition of the equipment prior to dispatch and on return shall be final.
The security bond will be returned to the Hirer within 7 calendar days from the return date, less cost of any Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire damages, breakages, professional-cleaning costs, repairs or shortages. If the amount owing to Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire for damaged, dirty or non-returned items exceeds the bond paid, then the Hirer must pay the difference.
Upholstered items that are returned dirty will be professionally cleaned and an invoice will be issued to you for payment.
For all cushions that are returned dirty, $2.00 per cushion is charge to clean.
If an item is returned to Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire damaged but repairable, you will be sent an invoice for the cost of repairs and payment is required within seven days.
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure all crockery and glassware is rinsed of food and drinks, and must be re-packaged exactly as delivered.
The Hirer agrees that all charges for hire loss Amazing Moments CQ Event Party Hire damage and repair will be paid by the Hirer.
DELIVERY, SET-UP AND PICKUP
There must be a site contact available at all times during the delivery and collection days to sign for both the delivery and collection. The Hirer must provide Amazing Moments CQ Event Hire with the name/s of this person/s and contact details. Drop off access must be arranged by the Hirers prior to driver arriving. Help may be required to lift larger items on arrival.
If AMAZING MOMENTS CQ Event Party Hire is setting up Equipment, the Hirer is responsible for allowing sufficient time and access to the venue for set-up.
When Equipment is received; it is the responsibility of the Hirer to check the itemized receipt to confirm all Equipment has been delivered. If item/s are missing from the order and is shown on the receipt, it is the responsibility of the Hirer to inform AMAZING MOMENTS CQ Event Party Hire immediately.
